The San Diego Association of Public Safety Dispatchers (APSD) develops and presents training courses for public safety dispatchers.

Classes presented by APSD are certified by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training and meet the continuing professional training requirements for California public safety dispatchers.

APSD works in conjunction with existing law enforcement, fire/EMS associations and resources to bring the needs and concerns specific to communications to the forefront. APSD is an independent, non-profit association made up of fire and law enforcement communications center managers, supervisors, phone and radio dispatchers in San Diego County.

CALNENA 2010 Annual Conference & Trade Show
Pre-Conference Training Classes
The San Diego Association of Public Safety Dispatchers is proud to again be presenting the pre-conference training classes at the CALNENA 2010 annual conference & trade show.

APSD will be presenting the following pre-conference courses:
- Conflict Management in Communications Centers
- Customer Service and Professionalism for Dispatchers
- Courtroom Testimony for Communications Personnel
- Active School Shooter Incidents for Dispatchers

The training classes and conference will be held at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego.

Radio Training - San Diego/Imperial County Regional Communications System
The San Diego/Imperial County Regional Communications System has POST certified field radio and dispatch console training classes which are available at no cost to RCS member agencies.
